What makes one literature rack worth $29 and another $299? Greed may be part of it, but there are real differences that figure in the pricing. Familiarize yourself with the next facts before seeking a portable literature display stand for your next trade show.

In what country it is made counts. The labor and shipping costs have a major effect on price and quality. Literature Racks made in the Far East have lower labor and overhead costs. North American or European products have higher product costs. Quality may vary greatly based on engineering, materials and general production management. Depth of the pockets controls the total amount of literature you can display. A 10 pocket display with 1/2″ deep pockets can only hold half the amount of literature containable in a 5 pocket rack with 2” deep pockets. Whether or not the full face of the literature is displayed in each pocket can be important if you have different brochures. A major additional cost is a double wide feature.

These are efficient, but don’t allow for the individual color tweaking and care to detail that smaller, custom output devices do. The resolution of most output today exceeds 600 dpi, but cheap banners may be less. Ask when ordering..Your graphics or use may dictate more expensive materials requiring photographic look laminates, greater opacity, fabrics or no curl vinyl. Be sure the material and production method fits your particular needs .

Scrutinize the options, often at extra costAccessories are often add-ons, but may be included in the base price. Carry bags, padded storage bags, shipping cases, lights and varying size literature holders are common to this category.

Attractiveness of the design can add to the production cost of brochure display rack products. This is easy to judge and decide if the price is justified.
