It has been more than two months since the devastating earthOptions(8)’>quake left parts the capital city of Haiti in ruins. And yet the world has not forgotten the tragic events and the damaged it caused the struggling nation and many are still trying to help out in whatever way they can.However, many people have not forgotten and are still requesting that their vehicle donation be put towards helping the quake ravaged nation. People are also donating their vehicles to seism recovery efforts in Chile which experienced heavy damage  as well.

Goodwill and the American Red Cross are thrilled to receive such an outpouring of support towards nations that deeply need it. While donating your car may not seem like a big help but  it truly is a wonderful act of kindness and it goes a long way.  Tragedies are never welcome events however; they have a way of bringing out the best parts of our humanity devastating events motivate us to give more of ourselves and do more for others in whatever way we can. At a time when making ends meet in this country has never been harder the recent earthquakes in multiple countries such as Haiti, Chile, Turkey and even smaller scale quakes in the U.S. have helped to give a new perspective.

While it may not be possible for everyone to give money and time to help those in need, donating your old, unwanted or no longer running vehicle is definitely an option. No matter the condition every car donation helps a charity give aid to those who are suffering at the hands of events far beyond their control. It is an easy yet powerful act of kindness that allows you to take something that’s no longer useful to you and put it towards helping someone else.
